Carmen

Carmen

We broadcast the Oceantown production of George Bizet’s beloved opera Carmen - updated to the early 20th century. The entire town is crammed into the Oceantown Opera House (aka “Old Rusty”) either as musicians, singers, stagehands or crowd scene extras. Some folks were also in the audience. This staging was modified to tone down the revenge killings and animal cruelty.
